Mike Garvan offers piano and organ instruction at all levels, from beginners to working professionals. Repertoire and teaching materials are tailored to individual student interests and needs. Styles include jazz, blues, improvisation, accompaniment, swing, show tunes, rock and avant guard.

 Mike’s credentials include undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston University and the Graduate School of Education at Harvard. He has over thirty years experience in both classroom and individual instruction.

 In addition to private lessons, Mike offers consultation on line, with review of performance by recorded media and distance-learning instruction.
