Mike Garvan is available as a solo performer or with additional
instruments in duo, trio or band formats.
Mike has played for functions in and around Boston, including The Country
Club in Brookline, Wellesley Country Club and Marblehead Yacht Club.
Cape Cod venues include Chatham Bars Inn, Chatham Wayside Inn, Wequassett
Inn, Ocean Edge, Wianno, Oyster Harbors, Coonamessett and Pompanessett
Inns. In the winter months he has played at the Breakers in Palm Beach and
the Boca Raton Hotel.
Music styles can include background piano, trio for dancing, rock and R
&B, Top 40, hits of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s. |

Mike
completed studies at Boston University and Harvard before co-founding the
Boston Jazz Quartet, appearing with Gary Burton and Herb Pomeroy along
with extensive touring and recording. He spent several years with Ted
Casher’s quintet, producing their first album, “Movin’ Back,” then
joined the Jim Miller Project for a steady diet of horn-driven R & B. The
forthcoming CD “Havana Nights” provides an opportunity to hear his Latin-
infused compositions.

Bruce
Abbott
studied at Berklee College of Music with Andy McGhee. He has served on the
faculties of Nauset Regional High School, Salve Regina University and the
University of Rhode Island where he earned a Masters Degree in Music
Performance. Bruce has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and
Asia, the Newport Jazz Festival and toured with the Artie Shaw Orchestra.
Bruce is an active recording artist with over a dozen CDs recorded for
North Star Records (www.northstarmusic.com
). He conducts clinics &
workshops throughout New England and teaches private music instruction on
Cape Cod.

Vinnie
Conga
has been devoted to hand drumming since being inspired in the 70's by
Boston's own Les Lumley. With experience in all areas of percussion,
Vinnie's primary passion is the conga drum. He brings to his
high-spirited performances impressive skills and embraces new
material with a child-like fascination. Vinnie's comfort with his drums
allows him to transition smoothly from one musical genre to another while
recording and performing in a variety of well-established bands all over
the Cape and Islands.

Natalie
Dietrich
studied jazz drums in Cologne, Germany and classical percussion in her
hometown Zurich, Switzerland. In 2004, Natalie moved to Boston and studied
jazz vibes with Ed Saindon and Dave Samuels at Berklee College of Music.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. Various performances with Dave
Samuels, Ed Saindon, Wolfgang & Christian Muthspiel, Phil Wilson, Vinnie
Colaiuta, Abe Laboriel, Mark Walker, Oscar Stagnaro, A-NO-NE Band, Jazz
Composers Alliance Orchestra. Natalie is in constant demand both as a

Paul
Good
is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He has performed all over the
U. S. as well as Canada, the Caribbean, Hawaii, England and Nairobi,
Kenya. Paul has made Cape Cod his home where he teaches guitar and
performs regularly with his own band as well as numerous other music
projects. He can be heard Sundays at Harry’s, Main St., Hyannis.

Rich
Hill
hails from Duxbury MA and began music studies on piano before switching to
electric bass at 12. He turned profesional at 13 and by 17 was playing the
Playboy club circuit. He attended U Mass Amherst before transfering to
Berklee College which he left to tour with The Platters. Today he lives
on the Cape and works regularly with Cheryl Piatelli, Stan Ellis, Living
Proof, Platform Soul, Paul Good, Ann Austin and John Harrison.

Cheryl
Kain
has sung the national anthem at Fenway Park
and Dodger Stadium. She sang under musical director Don Was at The Roxy
in L.A., and as a back-up singer for
Angelique of the TV series Fame. Cheryl appears with
world-renowned classical guitarist Lily Afshar, singing Spanish songs by
Joaquin Rodrigo. Cheryl fronts her jazz trio and has released her CD
Bloom, a compilation of originals and jazz standards, which Al Schmitt
(produced Diana Krall,
Natalie Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Ella, etc.)

Steve
Silverstein
began studies at age 8 and played professionally at 13. He studied
privately at Berklee College of Music from ages 13 - 15 with Keith
Copeland. At U Mass – Amherst he played in ensembles led by Max Roach and
Archie Shepp. He has played with Harry Allen, Bobby Watson, Carmen
Bradford and members of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. An active
member of the Matt Savage Trio he has performed at Birdland, the Blue
Note, Dizzy’s at Lincoln Center and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage
Festival. He is a member of the International Association of Jazz
Educators and a Bosphorus Cymbals artist.
